PASTOR CLINTON H. PARKER
SENIOR PASTOR - MORNING STAR MBC

Reverend Clinton H. Parker is an evangelist and veteran, originally from Altheimer, Arkansas, who has been a devoted resident of the Cobb County, Georgia, area for over 30 years since his baptism in 1968. Committed to his calling in evangelism, Reverend Parker’s ministry roots began in his hometown at Jerusalem #1 Missionary Baptist Church and Happy Home Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor John Shelton Sr. His service later continued at New Friendship MBC under Pastor A.L. Zollicoffer, where he held various roles, including Deacon and Associate Minister. A man who never meets a stranger, Reverend Parker is a retired member of the United States Marine Corps who also pursued a strong academic foundation, attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Southern Illinois University. He further advanced his training by completing a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from In His Image Bible College and earning certification in the "Prepare and Enrich" marriage enrichment program.
Reverend Parker's ministry is firmly aligned with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) and guided by his core beliefs in love, acceptance, and forgiveness. He believes in ministering the gospel to those without hope and holds a deep commitment to uplifting the fatherless and single parents, a passion stemming from his own background in a single-parent household. His commitment and integrity are central to his leadership, as he relies solely on the Holy Spirit to direct his footsteps (Psalms 119:33), a reliance that has resulted in the restoration, salvation, and deliverance of many families. On a personal level, Reverend Parker and Sister Charlotte Parker celebrate 21 years of marriage, sharing pride in their sons, daughter, and cherished grandchildren. In January of 2024, they officially began a new chapter, serving Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church as Pastor and First Lady Elect.
